TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
GENERAL
1. We at Mobility Warehouse are here to be able to supply you mobility products at our lowest possible prices and pride ourselves in being able to offer you this service.
2. We would ask you to study the leaflets and/or specification listings in order to satisfy yourselves that the product you are interested in fully meets with your requirements. We cannot provide personal recommendations or carry out personal assessments as to the suitability of a particular product to meet your needs. We can however, provide some general guidance.
DELIVERY and RETURNS POLICY
1. When products are bought and specified for delivery to the customer/end user, delivery of products can be made to the specified delivery address normally within 1-5 days of receipt of order and payment depending on stock availability. However, in the unlikely event of supply difficulty, we will contact you to confirm a delivery date.
2. For all battery powered products, (scooters and bathlifts etc.) it is important that the batteries are fully charged by the customer prior to initial use otherwise the warranty may become invalid.
3. As part of the conditions of sale, customers are required to inspect all goods on receipt and are to annotate the sales documentation with details of damage to the goods. Where this is not done, then Mobility Warehouse will not be responsible for the costs associated with repair or replacement. In all cases, damage to goods is to be reported to Mobility Warehouse at the earliest opportunity.
4. When you buy from us you have a cooling off period of seven days from the date you receive the goods. This means that if you decide that you do not want the mobility product supplied, you can receive a refund within 30 days provided that you notify us in writing within seven days of the receipt of goods that you want to return. You will remain liable for any applicable carriage costs incurred by Mobility Warehouse for both the issue and return of the goods. To claim under these terms the mobility product must be in the original undamaged packaging (where applicable) and the product must not be damaged in any way. Rise & Recline chairs in a style, size and/or fabric of your choice; stairlifts; special order wheelchairs, powerchairs and items made to your specific requirements; electric adjustable beds with mattresses and toileting or incontinence products are excluded. Pre-owned products are also excluded.
5. Where deposits have been paid for goods such as rise and recliner chairs in a style, size and/or fabric of your choice; stairlifts and special order mobility scooters, wheelchairs, powerchairs, electric adjustable beds and mattresses and other items made to your specific requirements, the full balance of the order must be settled upon delivery or installation of the goods. Such deposits are non-refundable and the cancellations of such orders are not possible.
WARRANTY POLICY
1. All products purchased from Mobility Warehouse are at the express wish of the purchaser.
2. Experience shows that many problems can be attributable to a lack of user familiarity and can often be overcome with some simple fault diagnosis and guidance on the phone.
3. We are official dealers for all of the products that we supply and we will provide a full 12 month parts and labour warranty on all purchases (unless otherwise stated) subject to the exclusions detailed below. In the unlikely event of a warranty claim, you must advise Mobility Warehouse of the problem by telephone, post or e-mail and the product must be returned to us in order to investigate the defect and repair/replace.
4. Any repairs carried out by third parties, other than those done with our express written permission, will invalidate the warranty.
5. General warranty exclusions:-
a. Parts which need adjustment, re-setting, replacement or repair due to abuse and fair wear & tear i.e. tyres, lap belts, bulbs, plastic shrouds and upholstery (damaged post receipt) , motor brushes, normal battery degradation, wheelchair brake adjustment, circuit breaker resetting, resetting user-induced problems on riser-recliners - cleared by disconnecting/re-connecting hand control etc.. or customer derived modifications
b. Damage attributable to misuse or accident for which we cannot be deemed responsible.
c. Battery degradation due to poor or improper charging
d. Other forms of damage or degradation due to poor storage conditions or moisture ingress.
e. Non approved modifications to any piece of equipment supplied.
6. Where items are replaced under the terms of the warranty, such items will be further covered for a period up to the end of the initial warranty period.
7. We are not liable for any consequential costs.
SPECIFICATIONS
1. Specifications have been produced to be as accurate as possible but are only intended as a guide and are subject to manufacturer’s change without notice.
2. Quoted Range for Mobility Scooters
a. The quoted range for mobility scooters are obtained under test conditions in accordance with European Standards.
b. The actual range in normal use is dependent on many factors including battery condition, user weight, speed, ambient temperature, tyre pressure, gradient and condition of road/pavement surface and degree of stop/starting. We recommend that these factors are taken into account when making a selection.
Mobility Warehouse Conditions of Sale do not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
